Hello!
I’m Jonathan and I love every second of my job. Not only do I get to create fun and meaningful films but I get to meet some truly amazing people in the process. I count every wedding I do as a blessing and I’m always excited for the next project. I enjoy being there for couples on their wedding day and providing as much guidance as they need to ensure they have a wonderful time.
When I’m not working on weddings I’m typically spending time with my wonderful wife binge watching Netflix, doing Escape Rooms, taking trips to Disneyland, exploring restaurants, and spending time with friends/family.
MY APPROACH TO WEDDINGS // GETTING NATURAL EMOTIONS
My approach to filming weddings is to be as discreet as possible. I want to be mindful and considerate of my couples and their guests as they enjoy the wedding day. By doing this I hope to create an environment where my couples can feel relaxed and not pressured or uncomfortable as I capture all of the special moments. Through this approach, I’m able to record the natural beauty and emotion on a wedding day allowing me to create films that look and feel more authentic.
To help my approach on a wedding day, I prefer to use smaller cameras and equipment to minimize my footprint. No big rigs or gear that can create an eye sore and make you feel uncomfortable. I want your wedding day to unfold naturally without making it feel as if I’m imposing. I’ll talk and joke with you throughout the day to help bring out those natural reactions from you without focusing on awkward poses and difficult positioning. By creating this relaxed environment I hope to keep the focus on what’s most important. You.
